Spent the past couple days skiing Lassen. The road is plowed to Bumpass Hell Parking Area on the South side. They may open the road soon but not sure.

This is the south side of Lassen. Still good skiing to be had. We ended up booting it instead of skinning it. The conditions at this time makes it easier to boot it up the trail.

Ed Shredding it. Excellent skiing from the top down the southeast side at 10:00 a.m.

I took this from the summit looking towards Mt. Shasta. It was a beautiful Clear day.

This is the summit of Lassen Peak 10,457 ft.
Have a great Memorial Weekend!

I'm headed there tomorrow. Thanks for posting the pics, I was wondering how much snow was on the south face. So where did you camp?
Sorry, I see you live nearby. I'll be driving up from Davis/Chico, and I guess I'll ski two days, so I'll be camping.
We did the car camping thing and camped right outside the park. If you want to camp in the park, there is the Mill Campground located at the south side of the park. It's a $14 fee to camp there.
Plenty of snow on south and southeast side of Lassen. Southwest side looks pretty burned out. Northside looks good. Once the road opens up, it will be a great shuttle run. Have fun!
