I would like to welcome you to the beginning of my website and blog. This site is all about having fun. Mt. Shasta and its surrounding area is one of the most beautiful areas in Northern California. Living here for over 17 years, it has given me the opportunity to explore, play and really get to know the lay of the land. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with you through stories and pictures I will post on a regular basis. Lassen Ski Trip-North Side

My friend Ed and I went to ski Lassen on Saturday. The road is plowed and open to the Devastated Area. We started around 10:45 a.m. and our turnaround time was 2:00p.m. We made it to 9300ft. and began skiing down. It was a good decent down except for me getting a little off track and calling Ed to the rescue. Upon arrival back to the truck we enjoyed well deserved Black Butte Porter beers and a sandwich. Looking back on Lassen, clouds moved in and it began snowing. We were glad to ski down when we did. Otherwise we would've been skiing white-out and icy conditions. Another great ski day.
